The reason is because Freemasonry's universality extends to religion, race, age, and language. Freemasonry believes that each man's personal religious belief is the foundation necessary in order to make him a better man. In fact, in the United States, if you contact a lodge, most lodges will be happy to give you a tour of their lodge room and explain its many facets when lodge is not in session.
Once a year in most jurisdictions a new Worshipful Master is elected. His installation may be attended by Freemasons, their wives, family, friends and anyone else who would like to attend. This is called an open meeting. Both Freemasons and non-Freemasons read them with interest.
Freemason Regalia and Jewelry are not part of Freemasons secrets. They can be purchased on the internet or from Masonic regalia and jewelry manufacturers by anyone who wishes to own it. Probably the most visible sign of Freemasonry will be viewed by the different types of Masonic rings. These rings seem to have strange inscriptions upon them, which leaves the non Freemason curious as to what Freemasons do, what they believe in and generally, what they are about.
Most are very surprised to find that Freemasonry is essentially a spiritual organization whose primary focus is upon living a life pleasing to our Creator and helping our fellow man to find God's light in our own lives. Let's take a look at some of the different types of Masonic rings. Freemason Rings are Masonic Rings Upon the face of these rings is usually a square and compasses , sometimes with a "G" in the center and sometimes not, depending upon the specific Masonic jurisdiction. Some are gold Masonic rings , set with diamonds or other precious gems.
Others are less expensive. The price of the ring is not as important as what the ring represents to the man who wears it. It represents a man who lives an upright life with our Creator as his guide. These rings symbolize the degrees within the York Rite that each man, who chooses to learn, may obtain once they have become a Master Mason. In the United States, the term York Rite refers to a collection of Masonic degrees which in most other countries are conferred separately. It's name is derived from the city of York, England where we are told that some of the first meetings of Masons took place.
Divisions within the York Rite as well as their requirements for membership differ in different jurisdictions, but all are essentially the same. In all its workings, it is required that all applicants currently be in possession of the degree of Master Mason in good standing from their Masonic lodge. In the United States, the 3 different rites within the order of the York Rite are: These rings are worn by members of another Masonic appendant body, called the Scottish Rite. Their rings usually contain a double headed eagle upon their signet face of the ring.
After becoming a Master Mason, these men choose to further their Masonic knowledge and build upon the ethical teachings and philosophy offered in the craft lodge, or Blue Lodge, as it is called in the United States , through dramatic presentation of the individual degrees in the Scottish Rite. Scottish Rite includes 29 additional degrees to the 3rd degree, or Master Mason degree which was obtained in the craft lodge. These degrees are lateral degrees to the Master Mason 3rd degree , as there is no higher degree or honor that a man may receive than that of being raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.
All subsequent degrees explore the teachings learned in the 3rd degree in a more in depth manner. These degrees amplify the legend of the Master Mason degree and the story of the building of King Solomon's Temple. Each of these degrees are designed to more forcefully impress the teachings of the first 3 degrees. After receiving the 14th degree, members are entitled to wear a Scottish Rite ring, which they, themselves, purchase.

The 15th and 18th degrees are obligatory. Several of the degrees of the Consistory series, from the 19th to the 32nd, further amplify the teachings of the previous degrees. In others, members learn more about the Crusades. The 30th, 31st and 32nd are obligatory. Both the York Rite and Scottish Rite appendant bodies of Freemasonry are institutions of higher learning The specific ritual within each degree is secret. Yes, however, the Shrine Temples function more as a social group who work very hard for their Masonic Charity causes.
If you see a man wearing a Shrine ring, he is called a "Shriner". His ring features a scimitar and crescent. Shrine "Temples" are another Masonic appendant body. This group is very social and has a lot of fun. Most Shrine temples have "units", which are parade-focused, such as the dune buggies unit, called Sand Bugs, the Horse Patrol, the Motorcycle unit, the Clowns and others. Shriners support many Masonic charities such as Shrine Circuses, As of this writing, there are 22 burn hospitals in the United States, Canada and Mexico which Shriners fully support. Shriners work hard to raise the millions of dollars each year needed to pay for the initial and ongoing costs for the building, upkeep and staffing of these hospitals.
This money goes toward not only staffing them with highly trained medical personnel; it pays for Life Flight costs to quickly bring badly burned children to these hospitals for the intensive care, multiple surgeries, prosthetics, skin transplants and many other things necessary for them to survive such horrendous accidents. Many of these children will stay in the Burn Hospital for many months or years. So, the next time you see a man in a funny looking hat, called a Fez , this is what he does.
He volunteers his personal time to help others in need. Is he one of the Freemasons secrets? Shriners are not one of the Freemasons secrets, but like many facets of Freemasonry, there are many people who wonder what Shriners do and why they do it. Not all Freemasons are Shriners, but all Shriners are Freemasons, as it is required that you be a Master Mason in good standing in order to join the Shrine. Many of the Shriner's wives also volunteer their time to hand make special clothing, blankets, pillows, etc.
Many of these wives get together at the Masonic Temple and create custom clothing for these children whose burns are both disfiguring, as well as create a reduced mobility for the burn victims.. These very special ladies are in constant contact with the Burn Hospitals, who provide them with the measurements needed to create these custom, handmade pieces of clothing, with velcro and snap openings as well as stuffed animals and other special items to help make these children's lives a little more bearable while going through sometimes dozens of surgeries in an attempt to give them back as much of a normal life as is possible.
Children up to the age of 18 with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate are eligible for admission and receive all care in a family-centered environment at no charge — regardless of financial need. The author discusses a whole host of issues, to include the US American Flag. At Kindle Locations the author states "He can take his mystery [American flag] for himself, but if he wears that [Flag of Islam], look at him again, he worked for that, he didn't get that so easy. It takes all of those stars to try to justify something. It shouldn't be done like that. We got one star, which justifies [us], which represents all the stars, is ours.
There are six stripes of red [in the American flag], not a solid background of red, because the red represents freedom, and he doesn't give freedom - only to those who are able and wealthy. If you're able to buy it from him, he'll give you freedom. Therefore, one cannot explore deeper into some of the "topics" the author discusses, not only in this work but various other's as well such as "The Tricknology of The Enemyy" were the author, Muhammad, Elijah, states in Kindle Version at Kindle Locations "Today we have before us the time and the chance which we have been long seeking, to do what we desire.
We have Almighty God at our side to help us to help ourselves. We don't like to disgrace ourselves and others by lying down at their corners or schools seeking to be fed, nor are we going to beg like that. Even though we may suffer hunger, we just don't see ourselves doing a thing like that.
If we want equality with the white man, he's trying to give you a chance to do so, but equality without a good home that you can call your own is only words and there is no such thing as being equal. To be equal with the slave-master is to know what the slave-master knows, and to have and own what he has.
If not, you are not his equal. Overall, I would highly recommend all the readings of this author to all citizens of the United States regardless of race, religion or creed for "different" viewpoints on a wide array of issues! One person found this helpful. I think that Elijah Muhammad gives great details of the Blackman being Muslim by nature. We were stripped as a people of our identity and divine way of life. Islam is not a Religion and is the best way for us as a people to live in peace and harmony. This book is a good starting point in helping all Black Masons understand the reality behind some of the actual symbolism in Masonry that has been intentionally hidden from us by White Masons.
Fard Muhammad that aided him in putting this book together. As Black Masons, you have to remember the founding fathers of this country were upper-level Masons who all misused our original Craft that their forefathers originally learned from us, by kidnapping us later on to become slaves in building this country from the ground up.

Thus it is advisable that after you finish reading this book, you also follow-up on your Masonic studies with the books: A Theoretical Compilation", by Timothy Myers. These are my next two choices of Masonic study materials. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad's teachings will certainly free us overnight!!! Mental slavery is what the Blackman and Woman suffers from.
This book was okay but not enough information. It was very informative.
It also confirmed a lot of my beliefs. It's a must read for true knowledge seekers.
